The team arrived in Manila at 9.30pm and after a short wait for Customs, Foreign Exchange and Baggage Reclaim we were on our way to our accommodation for the next two nights – the Guest House.
The next day will see us settling into Filipino life with a tour of Faith Academy, the school which is a base for missionaries and their children in South East Asia. There is a lot of building work being done in the area to improve the local infrastructure.
Missionary Jeff Long updates us on the latest improvements and convinces us that “if you ever want to take a year off and help with a worthwhile project” then he will happily provide us with accommodation and give us plenty of work.
The Lord’s work is done around the globe – and we are seeing His work done in Manila.
